By developing what is effectively  manufacturing capacity HOWCO GROUP has responded to the challenge of delivering more value to the customer.  Based on the amount of resource, time and effort required to make a product, Howco’s investment  in machine tools allows raw materials to be converted to finished parts at ‘lowest total cost’ by squeezing out multi-handling and duplication of transport, inspection and documentation. 

As each customer determines core competence within the value stream, opportunities arise to free-up significant amounts of high-tech capacity to give better utilization of assets and focus on higher-value manufacturing.  In response to this trend, Howco have changed the traditional definition of machining services from a stand-alone process to an essential part of the value creating chain providing:-
