GENERAL SCOPE
Stocked through a wide range of sizes, through mechanical tube, DOM
(drawn over mandrel) product form.
These grades of carbon steel are available from grade AISI 1010 through to
AISI 1050 giving a range of mechanical properties.
The hardenability limitations of this grade (depth to which it will harden /
obtain the specified mechanical properties after heat treatment) must always
be taken into account when designing and selecting equipment.
