At the turn of the century, 18 Trident submarines carry 50 percent of the total U.S. strategic warheads. The heart of a submarine is its nuclear power plant which, as well as providing a living environment, propels a ship displacing over 15,000 tons of sea water through the oceans of our world. The critical nature of this power plant puts modern materials to the test and, as a result, large quantities of the Nickel Alloys are utilized.

These Nickel Alloys, namely Grades 400, 500 and 625, are used for their high corrosion resistance and their excellent mechanical properties. There is no room for error. HOWCO GROUP are a supplier to the Trident project and the Defense sector.
