U.T.S. 75 KSI min (515 N/mm²)
0.2% Proof Stress 30 KSI min (205 N/mm²)
Elongation 30%
Red of Area 50%
CVN Impacts @ -75°C (-100°F) 135 Joules (100ft-lbf)
Size range: 1/4” OD up to 24” OD with wall thickness from 22 swg to 2”

General scope

Both austenitic stainless steel from the 300 series 18/8 family. With the additional Molybdenum in 316 giving slightly superior corrosion properties.

Normally supplied Solution Annealed/Treated although it can be supplied cold worked with higher strength properties. The "L" grade has a reduced carbon level to improve corrosion resistance after welding, and generally is more commonly available.

Primarily manufactured in:

  • Dubai, UAE
  • Edmonton, Canada
  • Houston, Texas
  • Sheffield, England
  • Singapore
