Though the 95 KSI strength level is not formally NACE MR0175 approved, the grade is an established equivalent to the NACE approved "Super 13 Cr" steels and has been SSC tested for a number of project specific well environments.
It offers enhanced mechanical properties allied to higher corrosion resistance that the standard 13Cr or 420 Mod. Grades. The low carbon content retains a martensitic microstructure, but improves the steels weldability.
Its main application is in environments containing CO2, chlorides and low concentrations of H2S.
Condition: Usually supplied hardened and tempered with either 95 or 110 KSI 0.2% P.S.
