50 YEARS OF STEEL ALLOY DESIGN
The UK professional institute IOM3 held a conference to track the development of steel alloys in important markets and applications last week and Poppy Gilbert, Howco's Group Technical and Supplier Quality Manager was pleased to be asked to speak to about the current developments within the upstream oil and gas sector.
The event marked the 150th anniversary of the formation Iron & Steel institute and was held in Cutlers Hall, Sheffield itself 185 years old just a short distance from Howco's Carbrook Street Sheffield location.
