Howco Covid19 Update 25th March 2020

To Our Valued Partners: 

On March 16th, we shared the business continuity steps that the HOWCO organization was taking to address the global COVID-19 (coronavirus) pandemic. During the past week, we have actively maintained our focus on providing safe work environments for our employees, staying connected with our business partners, and managing our supply chain to deliver the best service possible.  We want to thank you for your patience and cooperation as we work through our shared challenges.

In response to recent “Stay Home/Work Safe” orders, the HOWCO management team has evaluated our company position in relation to the memorandum issued by The U.S. Department of Homeland Security Cybersecurity & Infrastructure Security Agency on identification of essential critical infrastructure workers during the COVID-19 response.  Pursuant to this DHS/CISA guidance, our key customers in the Energy Sector have self-identified as essential business’ under these regulations.  As HOWCO is a critical part of the supply chain for our customers, we have also identified our activities as essential operations to support Energy and Critical Manufacturing.

We are fully committed to supporting our business partners through this period. HOWCO will maintain normal operations across the jurisdictions that have issued “Stay Home/Work Safe” orders. It is important to note that while HOWCO's business activities are considered “essential” under all state “Stay Home/Work Safe” orders issued to date and the accompanying federal guidance, the situation is fluid and new information is being released frequently.  We will continue to evaluate any changes as they are issued and provide updates on any adjustments that are required.
