CNC Machinist – Milling x 2

Role Requirements

To machine components to technical drawings and specifications

Duties and Responsibilities

● Set-up and operate CNC Machines
● Manufacture components from engineering drawings, whilst
working within company Quality procedures.
● Self-inspection of your own work
● Preventative and General maintenance checks
● Ensure all HSE legislations are adhered to at all times

Competencies

Read and understand engineering drawings
● Ability to set and operate CNC Machines – Milling
● Ability to edit and prove out CNC Programs
● Ability to use a range of measuring equipment (micrometers,
verniers etc)
● Sound knowledge of geometrical tolerances
● Good attention to detail
● Strong team player with a can-do attitude
● Must be self-motivated

Accountabilities and Performance Measures

Produce components to the correct standards within a timely
and efficient manner
● Maintain a high level of housekeeping and follow the 5S
program
● Excellent timekeeping and attendance

Job Requirements Qualifications

Previous experience within the Oil and Gas industry is preferred
but not essential
● Minimum 5 years’ experience operating CNC Machines
● Must have an Engineering Apprenticeship or similar
● Fanuc experience is advantageous
