At Howco, we appreciate all of our hardworking, committed staff members across the world – many who have been with us for a very credible number of years. As the group has expanded, we have also attracted a good number of new recruits too, with diverse skills and talents for a variety of roles. To celebrate ‘International Women’s Day’ on 8th March, we have decided to share this story with you…
Investment In People
We believe that investing in our people is the key to building a strong and successful future. Few journeys demonstrate this better than that of Monika, who joined the company as a Payroll Co-ordinator and, through determination, hard work, and the support of the Howco team, has grown into her current role as Group Payroll Manager.
When Monika first stepped into the Payroll Co-ordinator role, she brought with her a keen eye for detail, a willingness to learn, and a passion for doing things the right way. She quickly became known for her dedication, reliability, and her ability to take on new challenges. It was clear she had the potential to grow – and at Howco, potential is something we take seriously.
Recognising her talent and ambition, Howco supported Monika in undertaking a 3-year payroll degree – a significant commitment alongside her day-to-day responsibilities. Balancing full-time work with academic study is no small task, but Monika approached it with the same determination she brings to her role every day. Late evenings of study, countless assignments, and continuous learning paid off as she successfully completed her degree. This is an achievement that reflects both her personal drive and Howco’s commitment to employee development.
Throughout her studies, Monika was supported by her team and the wider organisation, proving that when our employees grow, we all grow together. This investment in her skills not only strengthened her expertise but also enhanced the professionalism of the entire payroll function across the company.
Today, as Group Payroll Manager, Monika leads our payroll operations with confidence, deep knowledge, and a passion for excellence. Her journey is a testament to what’s possible when dedicated individuals are given the opportunity to develop and thrive.
Celebrating Achievements
At Howco, we are incredibly proud to celebrate Monika’s success. She is a friendly and modest individual and her story reflects our ongoing commitment to supporting, developing, and investing in our people – because their achievements are our achievements.
