GENERAL SCOPE
Alloy 625 Aero is a Nickel-Chromium alloy with additions of Niobium and Molybdenum.
It has good stress rupture strength up to 980°C (1800°F), resists oxidation and has very good corrosion resistance. It also has excellent fatigue strength and cryogenic properties. It is also easily weldable.
It is a widely used alloy in the aerospace industry in applications such as fasteners, engine and airframe components, and in vibration & noise suppression.
